Dear Property and Business Owners,
The Del Paso Boulevard Partnership (Partnership) is a 501(c) established to help create a safe, clean, and vibrant business community in North Sacramento. The Partnership is largely funded through a voluntary tax assessment levied on non-residential parcels within its boundaries (see map). The Partnership is governed by an 11-member Board of Directors made up of volunteer property owners (6), business owners (2), and representatives from the City of Sacramento (1), Sacramento Regional Transit (1), and the City of Sacramento’s City Councilperson from District 2 (1). The Board of Directors meets monthly and provides general direction to the Partnership staff on agency operations and responsibilities. Each Board Members serves a three-year term. Upon the completion of the term of service, the Partnership solicits interest from the property and business community to fill the vacant spots. Standing Board Members may indicate their interest to stay on the Board. At our January meeting, the Board of Directors will elect new Board Members.
At the end of 2019 the Partnership will have 5 vacancies. These vacancies, per the by-laws of the Partnership, are to be held by 4 property owners and 1 business owner within the district’s established boundaries.
At this time, we would like to solicit interest from the community in filling those vacancies. If you are a business or property owner in the area and interested in serving on the Partnership’s Board of Directors, please submit a Letter of Interest along with any documentation that you feel qualifies you for serving on the Board to email@example.com. Please indicate if you are a property or business owner, and the address of that property or business. For property owners, please include the Assessor Parcel Number (APN). All documents must be received no later than Thursday, December 12th at 5 pm. All submittals will be reviewed by a Sub-Committee of the full Board of Directors. Interviews may be conducted as necessary, and will occur the week of December 16th.
If you own property in the district, we would like to serve you in the most effective and efficient manner possible. We would like to update our database to include email contact information. Even if you are not interested in serving on our Board of Directors, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with your most up to date contact information.
