On October 24, 2017, the City Council voted to approve the Temporary Homeless Shelter, with mitigation funds of $500,000 for economic development in
North Sacramento, $200,000 for security and maintenance and $175,000 for Police.
Per the request of the Councilmember's Office, the Partnership established a Marketing / Economic Development Committee to request mitigation funds to
off-set the negative impacts of the Homeless Shelter on Railroad Drive. The Committee met on February 15, 2018 and is submitting a
Mitigation Fund Request of $199,700.
